Thank you for your interest in our Craftsman's Jet Kits.
The kits consist of pieces and parts you need to build your
first jet (the jet stuff your local hobby shop probably does not stock).
You get: a clear canopy, all molded parts for the airframe + molded inlets,
fan housing/engine cap, thrust tube and all plywood parts pre-cut,
3 sheet full size Plan Set, Construction Video Tape and
Instruction Manual.
The Regal Eagle and Blue Hornet Kits come with parts for ALL TRACTOR and
ALL PUSHER Fan Installations. Our other Kits are for one or the other.
Please check individual Jet pages for a description of accessories.
To keep the price down, we supply a Template Sheet for the balsa parts.
They are easy to cut and you supply the balsa.
Since the balsa used are standard sizes, most modelers have a lot of the
balsa in their shop; saving them even more money - on their first jet.
The CRAFTSMAN'S BALSA JET KIT series is manufactured using our
exclusive, copyrighted concepts and have been designed, to be the perfect
Entry Level Jet. Many aspects had to be considered, before our kits
were dubbed: "The Best Entry Level Jets". You are not just buying a Jet
Kit; you are buying a complete Training Program - to build and fly your
first jet.
BOB PARKINSON JETS have to be: very easy-to-build, assemble with readily available
materials, fly off grass fields, be outstanding performers with the
least expensive equipment available, fly equally well with fixed gear
or retracts, fly like a real jet - yet slow down for landings like your
favorite trainer, use standard fuel (no high nitro), use lower RPM
standard glo-plugs, easy access to engine/fan, look scale (without
being scale), take hard landings, use standard servos, fit in a box
that can be mailed anywhere in the world for a reasonable price,
longevity - many of our jets have been flying for over 22 years
and are still going strong!
And last but not least: be able to sell for under $200.00.
If you have ever built a conventional balsa kit of die-stamped
formers and stringers... you will appreciate how much easier it is, to
build one of our kits. Our famous balsa box construction is the easiest,
fastest and strongest way to build a wood jet.
Our company is the undisputed leader, in grass field and entry level
jets. Simple building methods, combined with light weight and fantastic
flying characteristics; have over the years, made these kits favorites - the
world over. Our unique construction methods build quickly and easily, into
a light jet aircraft capable of grass field take-offs; as well as, the
outstanding performance that modelers have learned to expect, of BOB
PARKINSON MODELS. These balsa jets are lighter (and much easier to build
than heavy, hard-to-work-with fiberglass) and can be built, painted or covered with familiar and readily available materials. Those modelers who have already struggled,
to install equipment into a one-piece, fiberglass jet fuselage - will
appreciate the simplicity of an open box concept; that is finally,
sheeted-in after your equipment is installed.
Bob Parkinson, flies each and every one of his designs. He has
designed literally dozens, over the past 35 years. Only the ones that
have been perfected, to meet his exacting standards of flight performance -
are released for sale. We are the only Jet Kit Manufacturer offering
a VIDEO: to show you step-by-step, how to build your first jet kit; as well
as showing you flying footage, to excite even the most experienced R/C pilot.
You'll see a REGAL EAGLE, powered by a .65 engine; tear off the grass and go
ballistic!!!
Don't let the inexpensive price mislead you. Performance is NOT
a function of price - only Superior Design. Our manufacturing methods
allow us to bring you high quality kits: at about one-fifth the cost of
labor-intensive, fiberglass kits.
If you are still not convinced, how easy we've made JETS: you may
order the REGAL EAGLE Construction Video and pre-view it; or the Video
Catalogue and "see them fly, before you buy".
We will deduct the $20.00 you paid for this Video from the Kit price,
when you order.
